UNIFORMED COPS SHOULD HAVE BEEN USED

On the Ayers case: With all due respect to the members of the grand
jury. It was the actions of the officers themselves that create the
perceived danger to their lives.

To pull their weapons on an innocent man without doing any due
diligence to determine whether a crime had been committed was reckless.

The fact is, a police officer killing a law abiding citizen in the
manner described is a disgrace, regardless of the officers state of
mind.

It might be reckless, maybe negligent, maybe something else, but
whatever it is it is disgraceful as well as tragic.

By Randy Shirley's own admission they only wanted to talk to the
"suspect." This should have been handled by uniformed cops in a marked
car.
