MAY SEIZE POT PROPERTY The government may seize a Langley property after pot was found there earlier this year. A Langley property worth three quarters of a million dollars has been taken over by the government after police found marijuana growing there this summer. On June 10, police in Langley, Surrey, and Abbotsford swooped down on four properties, including one in Langley. All four were being used to grow pot, and eight people were arrested, including Brent Goss, Tyler O'Neill and Alexis O'Neill of Langley. All eight are facing a number of drug related charges, and the O'Neills have also been charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm. After the charges were laid, police looked into restraining the properties, and eventually seizing them under proceeds of crime laws. A couple named Davis from Surrey own three of the four raided properties, including the $750,000 Langley spread and a $1.6 million property in Surrey. Both of those properties have now been placed under Restraint and Manage Orders by the B.C. Ministry of Public Works. If there is a conviction on the charges, the provincial Crown counsel will apply to seize the properties, said Cpl. Holly Marks of the Langley RCMP. - --- MAP posted-by: Jay Bergstrom
