BEING GREEN VS. BEING LOGICAL

I am reading the paper this morning and shaking my head. The mayor
and the trustees have put up so many road blocks for the property on
Highway 133. Now you want everything to be Green - all well and good,
in due time.

This poor developer. He has jumped through hoops until he is about to drop!

The Mayor and Trustees are suppose to have the Town of Carbondale in
their Best Interests, yet you have allowed 12 marijuana businesses to open.

What a joke. Sure they are bringing in tax money, but its certain
that these businesses don't fit the bill for the majority of
Carbondale citizens, yet you won't allow this developer to build on
that ground to bring something other than marijuana to Carbondale.

If I remember right, that being voted in to office meant that you
were suppose to keep average everyday people's opinions in mind.
There is no way that this developer can build all green and make any
decent profit.

He has offered to do the best he can. Is that never good enough for you?

Every business that has wanted to come to Carbondale has been turned
away and gone to either Basalt or Glenwood.

You keep saying you want everybody to shop local. I don't think
marijuana is on my shopping list? Is it on yours?

I heard the other day that some tourists are not even willing to walk
down Main Street because of the type of shops located there?

Think about it.
