WOULD LEGALIZING DRUGS REALLY END THE VIOLENCE?

Peter McKnight is absolutely correct. Governments that support drug
prohibition are indirectly responsible for all the drug-related crime
the rest of us have to endure.

If we, the people, refuse to take responsibility for the manufacture
and distribution of drugs, then organized crime will do it for us. Why
is this truth so self-evident to ordinary citizens but so lost on our
political leaders?

My message to all politicians: If you support drug prohibition you
will not get my vote. If enough of us say this, change will come.

By the way, in his recent YouTube interview, the prime minister said,
"Drugs are illegal because they are bad." From this inscrutable logic
can we surmise that nicotine is a "good" drug?
