Felger initially had been told to clear out all his goods a week and a half ago, but he left much of them behind. On Wednesday, a bailiff stood watch as Felger hauled out cabinets, countertops, signs, desks and cases of canned food, which he would distribute to those who visited his Da Kine site. The items were piled onto the sidewalk outside the store at 33770 Essendene Ave. until they could be loaded into a moving van. Felger was told he had until 5 p.m. that day to remove them or they would be considered abandoned, leaving the bailiff to dispose of them. Felger was forced out of the store through a court order obtained by the building's owner, Dan Banov, who is suing him for almost $53,000 in back rent. Felger has appealed the case, saying he owns half the building and his rent is paid in full. Meanwhile, he told the Abbotsford News he has found a new location in Mission to set up a political office to continue campaigning for the legalization of marijuana. He won't reveal the location. - --- MAP posted-by: Richard Lake
