'MAYBE MARIJUANA IS RIGHT FOR YOU'

Re: 'Opponents Of Compassion Clubs Clearly Have Never Had Cancer,' letter
to the editor,
April 25.

I have compassion for Nicole Bodner and others in their struggle with
cancer and other chronic medical conditions. That's why I help these
patients obtain the legal, medicinal pot exemption from Health Canada,
so they never again have to buy an unknown product from a "friend."

Ms. Bodner is wrong to not "bother" applying to Health Canada, thereby
missing out on the legal ability to obtain whatever strain and THC
strength of medicinal pot she desires. Plus, the Vancouver club is
wrong to sell her product, knowing she can save money by having the
Health Canada card.

The medicalization of marijuana, via the Health Canada program for
sick people, will likely be the route toward decriminalization and
legalization of pot for the entire country. As the TV ads say, "Talk
to your doctor; maybe marijuana is right for you."
