I'm happy to hear that letter-writer Dr. David Saul and others help patients obtain legal marijuana. But I disagree with his assessment of the compassion club I belong to, the Vancouver Island Compassion Society (VICS), not the Vancouver version of the same. VICS offered me different cannabis products (hemp lozenges for mouth sores, hash for nausea, and different strains of marijuana for different symptoms). What's more, the application process was simple and hassle-free. When you're really sick, you need help immediately. And the less paper work and other nonsense, the better.
