DRUGS AND IMMIGRATION

Any attempts to control immigration ("Immigration crackdown goes to 
Arizona governor," April 20) will not be successful unless they 
address the drug wars that increase pressure on the borders and 
generate billions of dollars available to bribe officials.

The "war on drugs" is lost and needs to be replaced with a humane 
policy of controlled legalization and treatment.
