3 HELD IN ROBBERY OF MEDICAL-POT PROVIDER

Three men are accused of kidnapping a 32-year-old medical-marijuana
provider last Tuesday and forcing him to take them to his house so
they could rob him, the Denver District Attorney's Office said Monday.

Semaj Magee, 19, Royce Miller, 18, and Monroe Thomas, 25, each face
kidnapping, aggravated robbery, burglary and theft charges.

Magee also faces felony charges of menacing and possession of a weapon
by a previous offender.

According to prosecutors, the three were in a minivan when they
ordered the victim inside at gunpoint. They then drove to his home and
stole unspecified items, including those related to the marijuana operation.

All three are in the Denver County Jail. Bond has been set at $500,000
for Magee and Miller, and Thomas will have a bond hearing today.
