DA NEEDS TO EXPLAIN HIMSELF ON RAIDS

How as a society can these raids of marijuana collectives be
happening? Didn't California pass a medical marijuana law about 15
years ago? The legality of the bill has been contested in many courts
throughout California, and been upheld.

District Attorney Mike Ramsey has decided to lead a publicly funded,
private war against law-abiding citizens. Ramsey is not a federal
prosecutor, he is a state attorney. Ramsey has decided to disregard
the law of his employing state, and side with the federal government,
which already publicly declared that it has begun rewriting the law to
allow for medicinal use. Why is he doing this if he has no legal basis
for it? He has publicly stated he will not allow any dispensary to
operate in his county. He is pushing personal agendas.

Vicodin is a controlled substance. We are only allowed to possess this
substance with prescription. The same for marijuana. We are allowed to
go to Walgreens and Wal-Mart, and obtain Vicodin. This is OK by
Ramsey, but the pharmacies that issue marijuana are discriminated
against by Ramsey. Why? These pharmacies have tried to find a legal
way to co-exist with Ramsey. He has denied them. Why did he not arrest
any pharmacy owners if they were committing a crime? When will we
realize that he has disregarded the most American of rights - the
right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I challenge Ramsey to call a public meeting. Let him justify his
stance.
