WRONG MESSAGE

The criminalization of the use of cannabis has been proven to be based
on the assumption it is a so-called gateway drug. To have a sheriff,
prosecutor and former judge voice their opposition to the present
legislation of the medical purposes for marijuana is really talking
about taking away people's livelihood and source of income
("Legalizing marijuana remains a bad idea," July 16).
