As one who has been very much against legalization of yet another harmful substance, I have come to see the benefits it would bring and feel Mr. McNamara presents very sound arguments. The area I live in is a hotbed for illegal growers, and I have seen there is no stopping its use. One aspect of legalizing marijuana that I have not seen addressed is second-hand smoke. Whether on the street or in the home, I don't want to smell it or inhale it. With drinking in the home, which, of course, can be abused, at least the children aren't inhaling it when the adults are partaking. Sandra Kearney, Mendocino - --- MAP posted-by: Richard Lake
