BUREAUCRACY GONE TO POT

My grandfather arrived in this country broke and unable to speak the
language. He found a job and learned the language.

The alternative was to starve to death. The immigrants of today have
a cakewalk.

But to return Chris Tarttelin back to England for marijuana use 19
years ago is absurd (Family's stay here could go up in smoke, SP, Sept. 11).

I have smoked marijuana off and on for the past 40 years -- when
younger, for recreation, and when older, to reduce the pain of
arthritis. I know many people who smoke marijuana, both younger and older.

I might suggest that the idiots who are making this decision about
Tarttelin begin deportation proceedings to send me back to Ukraine.
Has anyone done blood tests on the recently arrived Tamils?
