PROP. 203 MUST BE DEFEATED

The Republic got it right on Sunday with its editorial calling for the
defeat of Proposition 203 ("Just say 'no' to medical pot").

The Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry is very concerned about
the effect Prop. 203 could have on the workplace.

Under Prop. 203, employers' hands are tied when it comes to employees
who are under the influence of marijuana in the workplace, even if an
employee has more of the drug in his or her system than prescribed by
a medical professional. This presents some significant safety
implications that we hope voters consider when they vote.

The Arizona Chamber joins The Republic in urging a "no" vote on Prop.
203.
