ALCOHOL IS MORE DANGEROUS

To the Editor of the Anderson Valley Post:

Thank you for considering this letter for publication.

Suppose you got arrested and thrown in jail with violent criminals and
fired from your job for a glass of wine or bottle of beer that you
consumed a week ago.

How would you feel?

Well that could never happen because alcohol is water soluble so it is
not detectable in a blood test after 24 hours. However, marijuana is
fat soluble so it can show up on a blood test more than a week after
consumption - long after its effects have worn off.

That is why Proposition 19 was written the way it was.
