POT: RESPECTFUL DISAGREEMENT

So, the progressive, bleeding-heart, liberal newspaper opposes
legalization of marijuana, and the token rabid, reactionary columnist
supports it? What planet am I living on?

In this day and age, do people actually still consider all aspects of
an issue thoughtfully and come to their own conclusions based on
critical thinking and not on what everyone expects them to say? Is
respectful disagreement in discourse still alive? Maybe there is still
hope for California.

Or maybe not. Regardless, this is an example of why I like The
Chronicle and love Debra J. Saunders.

Please keep up the good work.
