WHITMAN WRONG ABOUT POLICE STANCE ON POT

Recently, Meg Whitman made a very ignorant statement by claiming that 
"every law enforcement officer" is opposed to the legalization of 
marijuana. Beside the fact that she cannot know the opinion of every 
law enforcement officer in California, many current and former police 
officers supported Prop. 19.

They firmly state that keeping marijuana illegal will not keep it off 
the streets but will continue to put money into the pockets of the 
drug dealers instead of the state. Whitman may argue that this is a 
step toward legalizing of all drugs, but my response to her is 
similar to what she said in a rebuttal to Jerry Brown during their 
final debate: "You are just wrong."
