JITTERS OVER MEDICAL POT ARE ILLOGICAL

I am baffled by the panicky response of some voters because the
majority chose to allow the medical use of marijuana in Arizona. May
I remind them this is the third time we voted for, and passed, this
proposition?

I wonder if these folks have taken drugs prescribed by their doctors,
either for pain relief or any medical problem. Every lucrative
man-made remedy contains many additives. Have they read the
ingredients and warnings, or listened to TV advertisements? Did they
note the endless list of negative side effects? Had they personally
suffered from chronic pain, lived with or known one who does on a
daily basis, they would not object to their chance of relief from an
untainted plant. This law does not facilitate or condone illegal use
of marijuana.
