PILL MILL CRACKDOWN A WASTE OF EFFORT, MONEY

The Editorial Board has missed the point.

The pill mill crackdown is just one more expensive, wasted program. 
Since the war on drugs started in the early 1980s, the use of drugs 
of all sorts has skyrocketed.

All this new program does is put pain pills into the underground market.

Over 30 years of experience says it will do nothing to lower demand. 
Why are so many Americans on drugs? We must approach the problem from 
that perspective or just legalize the stuff. The current government 
activity only promotes more government jobs.
