TIME FOR NEW COURSE IN WAR ON DRUGS

Two more Americans have been murdered at the Mexican
border.

The millions of dollars we are spending on the war on drugs should be
spent building hospitals and rehab centers for the addicted. Stop
building prisons to house them.

Most of the crime in this county is a direct result of someone trying
to support their drug habit.

And as long as people in the streets and the Mexican cartels continue
to reap huge profits from dealing drugs, the war on drugs will never
be won.

Mexico will never change the way it is doing business; we have to
change the way we do business.

Prohibition proved to be a mistake, and I do not believe that drugs
are any different. Alcohol is just as insidious and
destructive.

Take away the profit and you will come closer to controlling the
scourge that has descended on our nation.
