MARIJUANA REGULATION SHOULD BE SIMPLE

Let's keep the marijuana bill simple. I suggest the following: Change
the term "medical marijuana" to marijuana as it refers to any number
of preparations of the cannabis plant intended for use as a
psychoactive drug or for medicinal purposes.

Allow marijuana to be available to anyone over the age of 18, ID
required, not medical cards. The consumer is responsible for his/her
actions. Under the influence is under the influence. Minor in
possession is minor in possession.

Regulate the use of marijuana as we have regulated use of tobacco,
i.e., smoke-free, and tolerance/intolerance of public intoxication.
License marijuana dispensaries and product retailers as liquor stores
and bars are licensed.

Regulate marijuana product as distillery and tobacco products are
regulated.

Do not allow import or export of any marijuana product by or for any
business without penalty of revocation of license and fine.

Do not allow import or export of any marijuana product by or for an
individual without penalty of existing distribution laws.

Tax marijuana as tobacco and liquor is taxed at all
levels.

We don't have to reinvent the wheel.
