PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN ON MEDICAL MARIJUANA

I am writing because I find all these new medical marijuana laws
appalling. I am not a marijuana user, but I see the benefit it can
have.

However, my argument goes to the heart of our country and our
Constitution. These laws were put to a vote and the people voted them
in. What good does voting do if the government can just turn around
and delete it because they feel like it?

The government is supposed to be "by" and "for" the people. How is
that so if the people have spoken and the government just erases what
we said? What a very sad day for the people of Montana when their
voices have been muted.

The governor needs to step up to the plate and veto this bill. He says
he doesn't have the government votes for a veto, but the government
isn't what should matter. The voice and vote of the people is what
should matter. When will "politics as usual" finally become the
politics they were meant to be and acknowledge the voice of the people
instead of a few government agents?
