BEST PRACTICES ARE BEING IGNORED

We live in a country where it is accepted that identifying and
adopting best practices in health care and crime prevention is the
key to managing the systems effectively and efficiently.

Canada's drug policy is in direct contradiction to best practices in
both. In fact, it has proven to be worst practice.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper does not accept what Insite has proven.
He is spending tax dollars in court to close the "inexpensive,
rigorously studied scientifically validated, life-saving program in
Vancouver." Tax dollars are being wasted to try to end proven best
practices. More importantly, the lives of law-enforcement officers
and people needing help are being wasted as well.
