Perhaps they should have planted "magic beans" instead. Then they could climb up the stalk to get "high." Medical marijuana is a farce, a fairy tale. I am a former federal special agent who worked in the drug enforcement field of marijuana and other dangerous drugs. Before I started work, I was trained in depth and did a lot of reading about the effects. I was just coming out of college and knew several users, therefore I was very concerned that I honestly could enforce the anti-drug laws. Some of the reading dated back to the time of the British Rule in India (this is where we got the term "assasin," those who used hashish, a form of marijuana). In all my reading, I could not find any beneficial uses of marijuana. I also talked to a number of medical people in California and Arizona to see if there was a valid medical use for marijuana. It was found that prescription drugs were cheaper and more effective. The general consensus was that a 12-pack of beer or pint of vodka would give the same numbing effect. The benefits of medical marijuana are nothing more than a fairy tale recited by those who don't want to see the goose who lays "the golden eggs" fall down the hill like Jack and Jill. I don't believe it is because of their deep and passionate concern for the 30,000-plus patients that providers want to stay in business. Rather, the marijuana providers want to keep the "golden eggs" in their pockets. Richard Begeman Belgrade - --- MAP posted-by: Richard R Smith Jr.
