SAFER INJECTION SITES HELP SAVE LIVES

It's despicable that our federal government governing body would sink
so low as to demand that those who are addicted to drugs should "just
say no."

People who need to inject drugs are ill; in order to manage day-to-day
living, they have an overwhelming need for a drug. Being able to use
injection sites provides the safety of clean needles and the chance to
speak to a therapist. It is important to accept the fact that not all
drug users want to speak with therapists, and this aspect needs to be
admitted by those of us who are lucky enough to live in what they
might call another world.

Safe, clean injection sites help those who are addicted to continue
with their lives. We who are not addicted may find this difficult to
understand, but that is what "safe injection sites" are all about.
