MISPLACED ENFORCEMENT

The July 7 article "Prescription drug deaths soar in state" has my
blood boiling.

Our law enforcement, our government and (sadly) some of our population
are so concerned about medical marijuana ending up in the wrong hands
that the ease of obtaining deadly prescription painkillers somehow
falls on the backburner.

Most of the fear and controversy surrounding medicinal marijuana stems from 
pure ignorance about the drug. One word, Michigan: priorities.
