PATIENT SAYS MARIJUANA WORKS

I have had severe migraines for three decades along with daily
headaches that would be a migraine to most people. When I was young I
had melanoma in my eye, optic nerve and brain tissue, which they
removed all three. Since that time I have been on a doctor
rollercoaster. I have been to headache clinics, therapy, trials, you
name it. I've tried recommended diets, natural alternatives and every
medication they could think of including migraine, antidepressants,
high blood pressure, anti nausea, etc.

The side effects from a lot of the meds were horrible, but I tried
anyway since the migraines were debilitating. Nothing has worked. I
have one of the top neurologists in the country who specializes in
migraines, and even this doctor cannot figure out why I have them or
how to stop them.

After almost giving up, I was offered an edible containing cannabis.
It's a miracle. For the first time in 40 years I feel alive and
headache free. I do not feel high, just good. I have to back Robert
Galia and Citizens for Compassionate Use 100 percent. There are
people who abuse medical marijuana, but don't blame the dispensaries
or growers. Blame the doctors that write the scripts for illegitimate
illnesses.

If any public official or person against the use of medical marijuana
were to walk in my shoes for a day or one day of a seriously ill
patient, I strongly believe they would be a supporter too.
