LEGALIZE MARIJUANA

If you want to fix today's problems, start with the basics. Raise the
drinking age to 21, legalize and control marijuana use as we did with
alcohol, and increase penalties for underage use of both and for
supplying both to anyone under 21. Also, make sure these laws are
enforced vigorously.

Raising the age will show our youth that privileges can be taken away
and will bring more respect for authority in general. Legalizing and
controlling marijuana will slow down drug addictions, which start at
younger ages now.

Change these two basics and I'm sure within two to three years you
will start to see a better society develop.

If we have any politicians with intestinal fortitude, they should make
themselves heard in regards to the many social ills we have today.
Stop the party-line business and make some meaningful changes.

It's a great country; why not make it better?
