END THE GREED AT POLITICAL TROUGH

I am so tired of hearing our trough-hugging bureaucrats pass the buck
when it comes to protecting our, and their, most vulnerable citizens.
Are they members of our community or not?

Most recent cases in point are the continued eroding of funding to
our special needs citizens. Shame on you, Kevin Krueger and Christy
Clarke, and the "nuthin' to do with me" attitude of Terry Lake and
Cathy Macleod regarding the raiding of the Compassion Club.

The latter seems to me to signal the federal government's agenda to
Americanize our marijuana laws no matter whom it hurts and the former
shows a heart-breaking disregard for the quality of life of our most
helpless citizens.

I also cannot help but worry how this affects the lives of those
senior parents who thought that they had planned for a safe and
certain future for their disabled offspring.

It is well past time to put a stop to the endless greed and
indifference at the political trough and return to treating our
neighbors the way we would like to be treated ourselves.
