MEDICAL MARIJUANA IS A GODSEND

I read in your paper an opinion about how terrible it was to have
medical marijuana in California. Medical marijuana has been a godsend
for sick, old, hurt and dying people in my state.

Where medical marijuana shops open, crime has dropped on average by 2
percent or more in that area. Deaths by car accident in the 18 to 34
age bracket have dropped 9 percent where medical marijuana is
available. Drivers given a DMV test while using marijuana were found
to be as good or better than people using nothing.

A test out last week showed lung capacity and health in medical
marijuana users was as good or better then people that used nothing.
No one has ever died from marijuana, which can't be said of alcohol,
tobacco or even aspirin.

Marijuana is not a gateway drug, as 100 million people in America have
used it. If it were a gateway drug people would be dead everywhere.
Please help the sick and dying of our nation and allow them to have
access to medical marijuana by doctor recommendation.
