SUMMIT COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS MARIJUANA REGULATIONS TUESDAY

The Summit Board of County Commissioners is set to consider a set of
regulations for medical marijuana sales in unincorporated Summit
County. 

The county has put off implementing its own policies on medical 
marijuana, favoring a moratorium on dispensaries, while waiting for 
final rules and regulations from the state, county officials have said.

The discussion is set to take place during the board's regularly
scheduled work session, which begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Summit
County Courthouse in Breckenridge.

A meeting will follow at 1:30 p.m.

The commissioners will also hold a joint meeting with county elected
officials at the work session Tuesday.
