WE NEED DRUG LAW REFORM

Kevin A. Sabet has got it all wrong ("How to cut prescription drug 
abuse," Open Forum, March 24) on the drug problem.

Rational drug law reform is necessary for a truly civilized society.

Legalizing all drugs and controlling abuse by monitored prescription 
from qualified drug counselors, individually encoded to the user, 
will change and immensely improve our society as well as finance the 
programs for social and drug law reform
