CUT OUT DRUG COMPANIES

I have to disagree with the April 29 letter writer's position that 
medical cannabis should be purchased only with a legal prescription, 
as other medicines are. (Re: "Control marijuana.")

This viewpoint only serves to provide profit to the big drug companies.

If a person can produce herbs in their garden that treat their own 
medical conditions, they should be allowed to so without paying 
through the nose to support corporations. Being allowed to grow 
something that is used for your own well-being is one of the most 
basic human rights we have and is clearly supported by the 
Constitution of this country.
