LEAVE MARIJUANA USERS ALONE

I imagine this is the feeling many had as alcohol prohibition began
to settle in. I don't know what they had to look back upon as a
moment of failed history, but we can look to their prohibition to see
the absurdity of pushing marijuana down the same road.

How does anyone differentiate between what happened to alcohol and
what is happening to pot? What's the difference? Is it merely because
you don't partake, so you have little to no concern about it?

Perhaps you're trying to come from a positive place, a place where
you're protecting your kids - but protecting them means watching
them, not legislating danger away from them.

We are not bubble-wrapping the entire country to keep your kids
protected. We aren't closing strip clubs or liquor stores, and we
know some are selling to kids, even in this very valley.

Stop pushing your rules, your morals, your views on everyone else. We
are just attempting to live as peacefully and calmly as possible;
that's why we smoke pot; to not get riled up. We smoke to relax and
think, clarify our opinions and really think on the opinions of others.

At the very least, please stop all this dispensary ban talk if we
aren't going to talk about legalization. Please leave us alone, as we
leave you alone.
