COLORADO TRAGEDY HIGHLIGHTS OUR SCREWED-UP PRIORITIES

The tragedy that occurred in Colorado got me thinking about how
screwed up our priorities are in North American society.

It has been reported that this young man ordered up to 6,000 rounds
of ammunition over the Internet. I really have to wonder why this did
not produce a red flag somewhere. Why would any one person need that
much ammunition?

It also begs to question that buying ammunition is legal, obviously,
in the United States. But buying marijuana seeds obviously isn't
legal, since Marc Emery is still serving out his sentence for that
heinous crime in a U.S. prison.

Somewhere, someone should compare the statistic on how many bullets
have killed people with how many marijuana seeds have killed people.

Our priorities are severely screwed up, people.
