IS A BAN ON ALCOHOL NEXT?

Once again, the Arizona Legislature is trying to reverse what the
voters have lawfully passed at the polls. The initiative process
allows direct democracy to thrive when gerrymandered legislative
districts do not respond to the needs of the electorate.

Rep. John Kavanagh, RFountain Hills, wants to rescind the
voter-approved medicalmarijuana law. He bases his need to do this on a
study that shows that one in eight highschool students who have smoked
marijuana got it from someone with a state-issued medical-marijuana
card.

With this type of reasoning, we should also outlaw alcohol, as I am
sure most get this from someone of legal age.
