STATE SHOULDN'T LEGALIZE MARIJUANA FOR TAXES

I just don't see why legalizing marijuana has to be about states
making money off it. Marijuana should be legal because there is no
reason for it to be illegal.

There are many legitimate medical treatments using this herb, and
hemp or marijuana have many other uses like making paper, fabrics,
textiles, ropes, biofuel, building materials and many more
environmental friendly uses.

If the sole reason for states or even communities to legalize it is
for tax revenue, then those people or the state leadership themselves
are no better than a common drug dealer of today.

Marijuana smoking itself is far better for you than alcohol or the
prescription drugs it can replace.

Tax the constructive industrial uses of marijuana, but there should
be no tax on personal use. You should be free to grow and smoke your
own without taxation or the fear of persecution.
