"Amid police inaction against the miscreants indulging in daylight waywardness" in and around Badamwari, the residents have urged the state government to "sensitise the police about the deteriorating situation before it gets out of hands." The locals alleged that the "police is shutting eyes to the growing incidents of waywardness." "Just today a cab driver was caught indulging in bashful acts with a minor girl who was later handed over to her parents. Earlier also similar incidents were reported from the locality," the residents said. The concerned citizens have already accused the police of sleeping over alleged drug-trafficking at the nearby Sheikh Colony.
