Chris Christie told the father of a 2-year-old girl Wednesday he couldn't yet promise he would sign the medical marijuana bill for children because "there are complicated issues" ("Save my daughter, dad pleads with Christie," Aug. 15). If it's too complicated for the governor, I suggest he check with the medical profession for advice. The young girl might not have time to wait until he makes up his mind. The bill has been on his desk since June and I am sure there are other people in the same position. He's doing the same with same-sex marriage. Christie is living in the 19th century and wants to be president in the 21st. Norman Horowitz, Monroe Township - --- MAP posted-by: Jay Bergstrom
