MARIJUANA PROHIBITION AND THE FOLLY OF SUBJUGATION

Gregory Kline answers his own retorts in "The folly of marijuana
legalization" (Dec. 13). He thinks it is the business of government
to control what citizens do behind closed doors. We better prohibit
private wine, beer and spirit consumption in our homes; turn the
clock back and reinstate anti-gay laws; and send several of our
recent presidents to prison for smoking pot. What century does Mr.
Kline live in?

He equates prohibition laws with laws against murder. Does he really
not see the difference between so-called offenses which have no
victim and actually killing another person? Unbelievable!

Maryland Libertarian Party.
