JUSTICE UP IN SMOKE

Re Pot Holes (Jan. 17): Officials argue that if someone who possesses
pot in one city can walk away free, while someone with the same amount
in another city is jailed, the discrepancy "can undermine the law's
authority." Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair argues that "justice
requires" consistency in the law's application.

authority or anything to do with justice gave me an uncontrollable fit
of the giggles as I was ingesting my morning drug - and that's just
coffee.
