Also be sure to check out the Monroe Street Fair, which has served as the unofficial Hash Bash afterparty since 2002 and offers live music, comedy, poetry, guest speakers, vending and more. Music is on tap from Chief Greenbud, Bizarre, I.L.O., Covert, DRIX, Zelcova and more. Music starts at noon and the party is free. 800 Block of Monroe, two blocks south of the U-M Diag. Several bars will host evening parties that celebrate the spirit of the event, including Woodruff's in Ypsilanti, which will feature the 20-year reunion of rap-metal band Harms Way, a group that was a well-known advocate for legalizing marijuana.
