U.S. DRUG POLICY CAUSES IMMIGRATION CHAOS

The elephant and donkey atop ladders oblivious to the flood of
children crossing into the United States below (Cartoon, June 30)
speak eloquently of how badly many misjudge the immigrant problem and
its solutions.

It is not border security; it is the poison of our history of poor
solutions to the drug problem over decades that is now driving Central
America's children to escape for their lives, not for our jobs.
