POT MARKET TO REMAIN CLOSED

A popular Eastside marijuana farmers market will remain closed, a 
Superior Court judge ruled Friday.

Judge Joanne O'Donnell issued a preliminary injunction barring 
organizers from operating the market, which had attracted large 
crowds to the California Heritage Market in Boyle Heights.

The injunction follows a temporary restraining order issued in July 
at the request of Los Angeles City Atty. Mike Feuer, who argued that 
the market failed to comply with the city's law regulating marijuana 
dispensaries.
