The symposium meets from 8 a.m. to noon with presentations on the safety and effectiveness of marijuana treatment for a range of medical conditions, including chronic pain, insomnia, epilepsy, post-traumatic stress disorder and irritable bowel syndrome. The symposium, accredited for continuing medical education for health professionals, will also offer presentations from patients on their perspectives. It ends with an interactive panel discussion and questions and answers.
