Tell that to the 62 kids who died" (Monday): According to the Arizona Department of Transportation website, 96 Arizona residents under the age of 19, died in car accidents in 2013. In 2011, about 2,650 teens in the United States aged 16 19 were killed and almost 292,000 were treated in emergency departments for injuries suffered in motor-vehicle crashes. That means that seven teens ages16 to 19 died every day from motor vehicle injuries. Using her logic, we should make driving cars illegal. - - Duane Washchuck Avondale - --- MAP posted-by: Jay Bergstrom
