Re: Surrey police get help to battle gun violence, April 9

Wringing our hands and condemning gun violence at the latest 
drug-related "drive-by shooting in Surrey" headline will achieve 
absolutely nothing. What we must do is acknowledge the truth of drug 
economics 101: If we, the people, don't accept responsibility for the 
manufacture and distribution of any drug, then organized crime will 
do it for us.

Approval of the legalization of marijuana does not mean approval of 
the ingesting ofmarijuana, any more than the approval of the 
legalization of cigarettes means approval of smoking.
