SUDDENLY MARIJUANA DOESN'T LOOK SO BAD

Regarding "City smart to prepare for marijuana use" (June 22): Didn't 
the ability to tax the heck out of marijuana take the stigma out of 
it in a hurry?

By the time the legal marijuana initiative reaches the voters, it 
will have so many tax amendments stuck to it that it will look like a 
telephone pole on election day.

There is no shame in the body politic.

Before you know it the politicos in "hate weed" locales will smell 
the money and decide that cannabis isn't nearly as sinful as they had 
originally thought.

That sound you hear is cartel members jumping in the air and clicking 
their heels together.
