Remarks by columnist Rob Morse and reporter Carla Marinucci on Bob Dole's
dilemma over his lifetime, six figure money transfusion from tobacco
interests requires comment. (...)

Dole's dilemma comes from the fact that he fits the definition of an honest
politicial: "once bought, stays bought."

California's should reconsider their rejection of Dole for that reason and
for his endorsement of the concept of personal free choice. That worth
concept, which, if logically applied to other substances, requires Dole to
advocate ending the war on drugs.
