Re your April 28 article,

Hemp retailer is set to fight drug charges. It's about time someone
challenged our antiquated marijuana laws.

Had politicians acted on the recommendations of the LeDain commission
more than 20 years ago, the enormous amount of money we now spend
chasing down pot smokers could be used to chase down real criminals.
